With over 50 years of overall work experience, this translator was conferred with the Knight Cross of the Order of the Hungarian Republic in 2005 for \"Outstanding Service in Cultural Diplomacy\". A PhD in Chemistry of Polymers, he has attended over 500 international events in his long and esteemed career including prestigious seminars, conferences, debates, etc., and has headed national delegations in more than 100 international meetings. He has travelled in over 50 countries worldwide and has conducted more than 100 lectures on European art and culture in various society/community centres. He has served in different capacities under UNESCO, Ministry of Culture, and Department of International Relations, among others.
