Allocation of Assignments to You

We operate under the “One assignment-One Translation Checker” system. Unless stated otherwise in the allocation email, please assume that the assignment has been allocated to you.

i.Contacting you

The Project Management Team will send emails from translation@ulatus.com with the following subject line for example: [Translation check: ABCDE-1][Japanese to English: ABCDE-1] 1336 characters/Friday, September 30, 2015, 18:30 IST

Exceptions:

When we have assigned it to more than 1 Translation Checker because of urgency of deadline, the subject line will consist of a [[DO NOT START]]

[Translation check: ABCDE-1] [Japanese to English: ABCDE-1] 1336 characters/Friday, September 30, 2015, 18:30 IST

Upon receiving your confirmation and subject to the assignment still being available, the project management team will reply to you with a START tag when we want you to start. For example: The above assignment will contain a START tag when you want to start. [[START]]

[Translation check: ABCDE-1][Japanese to English: ABCDE-1] 1336 characters/Friday, September 30, 2015, 18:30 IST

When we want to cancel an offered assignment, the subject line will have a Cancelled tag. For example: [[Cancelled]]

[Translation check: ABCDE-1] [Japanese to English: ABCDE-1] 1336 characters/Friday, September 30, 2015, 18:30 IST

ii.Your Confirmation

Please hit “Reply All” when you communicate with the Project Management Team. If you compose a fresh email, please use the same subject line and add the same email addresses from which you have received the email. Using the same subject line helps us in smoothly tracking emails. Our email rules are specially configured to route emails to the Project Management Team based on the subject lines framed in the standard format. If a different subject line is used, the Project Management Team may not receive your email.

iii.Starting your work

If you receive an assignment with a [DO NOT START] tag in the subject line, please send your confirmation/acceptance email and wait for our confirmation. Do not start working on that assignment until you hear back from the Project Management team. On receiving our confirmation, you can start working on the assignment. On the other hand, for assignments without the [DO NOT START] tag in the subject line, please proceed with the assignment after you send your confirmation email and do not wait for the Project Management team to acknowledge your confirmation email. For more details on the TRANSLATION CHECK PROCESS, refer to the next section.
